1. Ken Burns Effect In Motion 5 - Set Up
In this tutorial, we will work on the second scene of our trailer in Apple Motion. This will consist of an image of the entire product which will be animated with the Ken Burns effect. The Ken Burns effect is a technique applied to still images to give the illusion of panning and zooming motion.
2. Animated Title in Motion
In this tutorial, we will be creating a text title in a Motion project. To give the title a formal style, we will add a simple solid colored rectangle behind the title. Then we will apply the same Motion behavior to both objects in order for them to move together.
3. Ken Burns Effect In Motion - Record Keyframes
We will continue to work on the Ken Burns effect for our Motion trailer. We will be using the Record feature in Motion to create two keyframes that will control the panning of our still image for the Ken Burns effect.
4. Fade In and Out Behavior In Motion
Now that we have our graphic in place and set to the correct duration on the Motion Timeline, we can add a behavior to the image. We want to have the image fade in at the beginning of the video and fade out at the six second position. We can do this with a Motion behavior called Fade In/Fade Out.
5. Remove Movie Clip with ActionScript 3
Now that we programmed Flash to move our movie clip from the Flash Library and place it on the stage, we can work on the ActionScript that will close this movie clip. The easiest way is to create a Close button and add ActionScript to go with it that will remove our movie clip from the stage.
6. Add Library Items to Stage – Flash ActionScript 3
In this tutorial, our goal is to load and run a movie clip with ActionScript. But, the movie clip is not on the stage when the website is loaded. It is stored in the Flash Library.
7. Button Behaviors in ActionScript 2.0 and 3.0
With the upgrade to ActionScript 3 in Flash CS3, I thought that it would be useful to program a button using both AS2 and AS3, so that you can see the changes necessary for ActionScript 3.
8. Add Image to Motion Project
Now that we have added our Bokeh animation as the background for our Motion project, we can start working on the first section of the project. This six-seconds long introduction will immediately tell the audience what the product trailer is about.
9. After Effects CC, Flash CC and PhoneGap
Creative Cloud offers new and improved features for After Effects CC, Flash CC and PhoneGap. We see new live integration between CINEMA 4D and After Effects CC. Creative Cloud also makes creating apps with PhoneGap Build much easier and the Toolkit for CreateJS extension is now built into Flash CC.
10. Add a Hyperlink to a Button in Adobe Flash CS3 Professional
Many readers have asked how to create links in Flash movies that will take your visitor to another website such as your eBay store. In most cases, this link will either be a button or a text link. In this tutorial, we will take a look at how to create a button link in your Flash movie.
